As a Cognitive (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral (DBT) therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a balanced life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing thinking, feeling and behavior patterns or perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from individual therapy for anxiety and depression, OCD, trauma, grief/loss, to couples counseling, parenting support and beyond. I have DBT and CBT groups available on an ongoing basis. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer an individualized approach tailored to each of my patient's unique needs to help attain the personal growth they are desiring.
To encourage comprehensive treatment, I collaborate with many outstanding individuals in the fields of holistic physical health, nutritional health, mental health and substance abuse disorders. Referrals are made to competent pracitioners as needed to supplement the therapy I provide and/or for areas that are outside of my scope of training and expertise.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends & family, hiking, sailing, tennis, reading, playing the piano & going for walks with my two pups Bella and Buster.
